PRESS RELEASE
Insight Investments Corp. Hires Top Industry Executives in Key U.S. Markets
Orange, CA April 16, 2008 Insight Investments Corp., a leading independent leasing agent of IT and medical equipment, announced today the addition of veteran equipment leasing executives to lead the company’s recently announced new division for professional service and middle-market clients.
Darren Lang, Jim Lindley, Mike McCoy and Colleen O’Donnell, formerly of US Bank Oliver-Allen Technology Leasing (NYSE:USB), created the new division to focus on the IT equipment and management needs of middle-market companies. The new Insight Investments division reports to Joe Healy, senior vice president and director of national sales for Insight Financial Services, as was previously announced on April 9, 2008. It will serve professional service companies such as law firms, engineering and architecture firms and physician group practices.
Lang, senior vice president for the new division, stated, "middle market companies have been requesting enterprise level leasing services and solutions for years. With Insight Financial Services, the ability to deliver flexible leasing solutions now begins with market intelligence in the equipment acquisition process, continues on to customized asset management during the lease term and finalizes in a cost effective end of lease return and equipment disposition process."
In addition to the hiring of the U.S. Bank Oliver-Allen executives, Insight Investments Corp. has made a significant move in hiring two senior industry executives to round out the team that will have nationwide coverage and well over 125 years of experience:
Jerry Bender has been named vice president and account executive with responsibility for leading Insight Investments’ sales efforts in Ohio and business centers in states contiguous with Ohio. Bender has more than 29 years of equipment leasing experience. He brings an entrepreneurial background as a co-founder and a senior vice president of ICX Corporation which was sold in December 2006 to CIT Group, Inc. (NYSE:CIT).
In addition, Insight has also acquired the services of Steve Hamilton as vice president and account executive out of Atlanta. Hamilton was at Syclo LLC as the executive vice president of sales and prior to that was an executive vice president at Comdisco. Throughout his career, Hamilton has given educational seminars to thousands of professionals, both domestically and overseas.
"I am excited and honored to be working with such an experience team of professionals who have a wealth of knowledge and a commitment to their customers and business partners," said Joe Healy, senior vice president and director of national sales for Insight Financial Services.
